I liked the part about the legal advice. Apparently the Mayor uses a magic LEGAL 8-ball to make tough decisions.

"Should I try and screw with the Police contract?"

Signs point to yes.

(He asked the same question about going after Sheriff Aubrey & the tax revenues)

"Do I have a better chance of beating the FOP than I did the Sheriff?"

Outlook Good. ( About as good as it was on beating the law with the taxes)

Instead of trying to screw with people you would think he would be trying to improve the way people view the City and it's leaders.

Maybe you should be asking someone like Irve Maize about the legality of the contract than whatever legal flunkies you have been consulting lately. Isn't that what we have a County Attorney for?

I too am sick of seeing tax dollars wasted on moronic political decisions. Nobody is saying the Police are better than any other City employees, but they sure negotiated a smarter contract and now you want to take a bennefit away form them.
