I did not know this officer, but I am deeply saddened and pained for both the family, and the Louisville community. This young and vibrant officer lost his life over something so juvenile, and stupid. I have thought about this officer consistently ever since it happened, and I think we as a community, and as a nation should do something to stop children from possessing guns.
