The cost taxpayers bear to hold officers accountable

What should happen but won't.

1. Metro Council holds extensive hearings and calls everyone involved to testify.

2. Metro Council goes to Commonwealth Attorney demanding appointment of special prosecutor from outside Jefferson County, since he, O'Connell and all their prosecutors have political conflicts of interest with going after the Fischer Administration.

3. Special prosecutor brings in KSP detectives to investigate Fischer Administration and LMPD command using grand jury.

A grand jury is key. That's the ONLY way you cut through the bulls--t excuses about "We can't testify because of the feds" or "I have FOP contract rights." In a grand jury, you either tell what you know or you take the 5th and appear like a criminal who needs to be indicted too. Patty cake time ends. An investigation with no grand jury this late in the game isn't a real investigation. I'm looking at you federales.
