There are some pretty long odds against that. The last time Aubrey had opposition in 2010, he had about 150,000 votes. That's 25,000 more votes than Hal Heiner got in his run against Fischer in the same year and 18,000 more votes than Fischer himself got for Mayor.
He obviously got some Republican votes to win.
I had more hope for Leet, but Fischer, O'Connell, county attorney, US Attorney and the judges here have successfully buried the evidence about the Explorers and who's responsible for what. It all goes show what really lies beneath the facade of this genteel southern town. A corrupt political machine that controls every part of the government here. Aubrey is the least of our problems.
