What kind of money are you talking about? I see some references to $20,000 being raised online. That's not much when you're a young widow with kids. Until a month ago the total death benefit was 25% of a deceased officer's salary. That's what she had to live on for the 1st year. They just raised it to 75%.

The foul comments on here show some people posting here lack the basic humanity to even be police officers. It could be that trucker loser.
