You're kidding yourself if you think blacks aren't even harder hit than whites by the drug epidemic and related violence. The only states with lower mortality rates for blacks are the places with few blacks like Hawaii, Maine and Idaho, where black gangs aren't on every corner. Heroin isn't an existential threat to whites as you describe but it does cause a major drain on public resources. Our politicians and federal law enforcement have tried to treat the Mexican narcoterrorists as ordinary criminals.
