What!?!?!? The merger was a hostile take over... The old City of Louisville was BROKE and had no choice. The QUEEN made all the big businesses mad and they started moving to the county.. If it were a true merger there would be no small cities, but the powers to be knew better than to touch rich folks in the suburban cites or their police, fire dept's and even those with their own EMS. The residents who live in the suburban district will never see free trash pick up, debris pick up, street lights
