What!?!?!? The merger was a hostile take over... The old City of Louisville was BROKE and had no choice. The QUEEN made all the big businesses mad and they started moving to the county.. If it were a true merger there would be no small cities, but the powers to be knew better than to touch rich folks in the suburban cites or their police, fire dept's and even those with their own EMS.

The residents who live in the suburban district will never see free trash pick up, debris pick up, street lights or side walks and most are not even seeing the metro police. With exception to those officers who may be their neighbors.

I have said it before and I'll say it again. Either de-merge or blend LMPD into JCSO. Think about it, if you don't like your boss all you have to do is vote him or her out after 4 years. Stay Safe
