Louisville man exchanged gunfire with off-duty LMPD officer

White was a liberal political puppet. I'd welcome a chief like former Sheriff David Clark. White command staff have always want to act politically correct. They have to tell the women with 3 adult children in prison that their kids are a victim of _____ (fill in the blank) not their own irresponsibility or immorality. Police are supposed to regret every arrest. If only we could put them all on HIP and then diversion.

I'd rather see those kinds told the truth by someone their own color who's not afraid of being called a racist. The truth is these are bad people who belong behind bars. The job of police is to put them there as often as possible, not do a bad impression of a social work agency. White command staff can't do that in Louisville in 2018. The council would attack them as a racist. This is the world we live in.

An outside chief would also be able to start fresh without having any skeletons left over from the last several years of never ending scandals and cover-ups. This city needs a fresh beginning not the same old same old.
