Nobody denies there are bigots and racists in law enforcement. As long as humans are the police, there will always be bigots and racists. I've served with several whites and blacks who were bigoted against other races. Society at large is far more racist than people in police departments. The key distinguishing factor is whether they allow those attitudes to influence their decisions at work.
