Female LMPD officer claims police, city ignored sexual harassment

LMPD has many non-retiring officers taking jobs at small departments paying less and officers leaving policing altogether thanks to the embarrassing revelations, low pay, command incompetence, unprofessionalism, and inability to ever take days off when people want due to short staffing. The wheels are falling off the car in the officer ranks. They keep promoting people to unnecessary jobs to make it worse. Crime going up in the suburbs is directly related. They know this but aren't allowed by the Chief to ever discuss it.

This is part of the price of keeping corrupt command staff on the payroll. The public will ignore it all like usual, until a tipping point is reached when they realize the middle class and upper class white picket fence neighborhoods are dangerous too.
