Many on the council talk a big game but kowtow to Fischer and protect him and Conrad, like they talked a big game about No Pants Dan before the public pressure kicked in full force. If they were actually interested in removing Conrad, they'd have already gotten the state legislature to pass a law applying only to Louisville to give them the power. It could easily pass. The truth is they have that power grandfathered from the law that let the Board if Aldermen remove city officers. They pretend not
