Officers shoot, kill armed suspect after assault call in Okolona

The person in charge should have called SWAT. Isn't SWAT supposed to be full-time now? It would only make sense that some of them respond to this kind of run without even being asked. People whose experience is in administration roles don't always know what to do despite their rank.

Around 9 p.m. Louisville Metro Police responded to the call of an assault in progress and shots fired in the 3200 block of Fern Valley Road, at the Industrial Park building. As officers investigated the building, roughly an hour later, two officers made contact with an armed suspect when the shootout occurred.

Pathetic PC police making every excuse for the criminal dirtbag and questioning officers... their video didn't capture it like a Hollywood film, maybe they need better training (WTH?!), etc. And a 'moment of silence' for a felonious thug whose actions caused his own death?! I'll pass! LMPD Command, how about you commend the officers for protecting life and perhaps saving the life of the man bound and gagged inside?! Stop with the PC bull, and support your officers!!

Are you serious! Hardison took a moment of silence to recognize the perpetrator. What a joke, would he have done the same if this guy had killed someone? Act like a professional and show that you are fair and a moderate. Why didn't you take a moment to recognize the trauma officers and the victims felt? What joke of a department.

Some of the end end liberals who say we can't arrest our way out of this problem may want LMPD to arrest its way out of the problem, after reading a teenage killer was caught a short drive away from their house. They will be shocked and surprised that the invisible wall they've always assumed kept killers to the west of I-65 has collapsed.

Compare and contrast these quotes to fully understand why the majority of the public thinks most activists are liars or crazy. There isn't a divide between race, as much as a divide between psychologically well-adjusted people from those ****** pro-criminal.

The victim: It started with a 911 call about an assault. Then another call about a robbery. A witness told police they heard shots fired. The owner of the business where this took place was pistol whipped, bound and duct taped. "The suspect had a gun to the back of his head, his eyes and hands were taped up, and he was hit in the back of the head with a gun" The owner of Lawn Kings said he has no idea who the suspect was.

The suspect: Corey Boykin Jr., 24, exited the building holding a handgun. That's when officers fired their weapons, which was captured on body camera video.

The activists: "I'm not waiting on their evidence. Their evidence is clear. They want to murder black people" said Chanelle Helm, an organizer from Black Lives Matter Louisville. The group said they're tired of what they call police brutality within Metro Louisville. "This is an outrage against this community," one protester said. "They shot him I think five times in three seconds, didn't give him a chance to respond or to de-escalate" Julia Adams from Black Lives Matter Louisville said. "This police force needs to be accountable to the community and we need to break the silence," another speaker said. Within three seconds, we see Corey shot down. No words, no anything, no warning," Black Lives Matter member Chanelle Helm said. "This is ridiculous," Kris Philipp said. "It hurts my heart every time I hear of someone being shot and killed by our police."

He wasn't and I seriously doubt if he ever will be. They are playing this a lot like they did with Richard Jewell in Atlanta in 1996. If they ever tire of chairborne ranger status, they can head West to do some real law enforcement around Victory Park.

All the liberals claiming Europe is so much safer than America and we have nothing to fear from unvetted illegal immigrants can STFU now.

A 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted three times in an hour by at least three different men, police say, in an incident they describe as "horrific" and "hideous." The victim was making her way home from East London to Central London before midnight on Sept. 29 when she was separated from her friends, according to a press release from London Metropolitan Police.

Police say they have tracked the victim's attacks through a series of security camera recordings which begin around 11:55 p.m., showing the girl being carried down the street.

50 Most Livable Cities

Pretty sad that Mayor McBikelane and his minions have led this city down the wrong path for years. USA Today lists the top 50 most livable cities and guess where Louisville is? Nowhere on the list. But guess what city to the south east in Kentucky is listed number 31? Lexington, KY. Good job Mayor McParade.

So many murders the last 48 hours the reporters can't count them. At least the rogue basketball coaches and would-be traffic barrier runners are being stopped.

The jury will obviously look right past this conflict of interest defense to the conflict of anus by 2 on-duty officers. They should try the Chewbacca defense instead.
