New LMPD policy: No working with immigration officials to enforce federal laws |
RE: New LMPD policy: No working with immigration officials to...
I'm the one who brought up Dotson and Hamilton, not him. You have apparently lost contact with reality. Reality is that the entire county had 40 murders when Dotson was Chief and Conrad was an administrative Sgt in a unit that didn't do that much. Murders were over 3 times that level last year. If the modern day superstars are as great as you imply, then this city would still be the relatively low crime city it used to be, not little Detroit. Results and actions speak louder than words, but political minions and lackeys never figure that out.

Why do you make it sound like riding a beat is a bad thing? Some people with a lot of time on still like riding the beat. It's actually where real police work takes place and community outreach happens, not sitting in an office from 10 am to 2 pm in front of a computer pretending like you are making a difference. Advancing "newbies" into positions they are not ready for is what's wrong with this department.
