New LMPD policy: No working with immigration officials to enforce federal laws

There have been several past instances of payments to athletes, like to the Reggie Bush in 2009. The US Attorneys and Justice Department never viewed that as an enforceable federal crime. It will be tough,bit not impossible, to prove any of this meets the legal standard of bribery or honest services fraud. The defense attorney will be the best in America. Usually you don't just charge a few people and then go public while hoping to charge the rest later, talking tough on TV. It's very odd.
