The Mayor and the Chief are doing a perfect impression of Boss Hogg and Sheriff Roscoe with their disastrous hair-brained ideas. Every decision they make leads to lawsuits, higher crime and people getting killed. I give no small amount of the credit to their bad legal advisors and the county attorney, who apparently never saw a lawsuit they didn't want to lose. They epitomize what happens when you hire or elect people who look good on paper but have no common sense.
