LMPD Asst. Chief named Bardstown Police Chief |
RE: LMPD Asst. Chief named Bardstown Police Chief
I think hizhonor's policing philosophy should be adopted on a wider variety of criminal behavior. It would be biased and borderline unethical to police one group of individuals differently based on their nationality or ethnicity.

Command officers are forbidden by both state law and federal law from interfering in the enforcement of the law. They can't legally suspend officers for arresting an illegal alien with a bench warrant or responding to a report of a crime in progress involving an illegal alien. They can't suspend officers for informing ICE about the whereabouts of someone in the US against the law.
It's called official misconduct under state law and in some cases its obstruction of justice under federal law. That may leave a dent on their spotless resumes of ice cream cone distribution, peacewalks and community meetings.
