High morale officers don't make a public vote of no confidence in their Chief and administration. I've never even heard of a city council for a larger city voting no confidence in a police chief, much less one answering to a Mayor from the majority party. What passes for normal at LMPD is highly abnormal just about everywhere else. The exceptions might be small departments where the sheriffs get indicted for corruption or drug trafficking. We haven't seen that in Louisville yet. There's a bragging point for you.
