Damn fine reporting and revelation. She did exactly what she said she was going to do, unfortunately an innocent person suffered for it. Mayor and chief have to be proud because she got that second chance and wasn't arrested out of the problem. No one probably prosecuted the case from lmpd or blew it off. Victim will probably due too.
