Police say passerby may have saved life of LMPD officer attacked by homeless man

The Crown Vic is a dying breed (not alive and well), Taurus is the up and coming vehicle, to small inside, hard to get in and out,LMPD should go to escapes for patrol. More room for the officers, easier to get in and out (no twisting of your knees or head bumping) higher for more visibly and most of all.....slower vehicles so you feel you had to chase anyone. I would suggest explorers but the cost is much higher.
