A take home isn't a benefit. Its a department resource and a tool. If your job doesn't actually require daily use of a city vehicle, then you only need a pool car. The department is currently going without the 200 to 300 more street officers it needs because of all the waste here. They can't even afford to offer a salary that competes with cities like Indianapolis and have to go begging retirees to fill slots.
