LMPD officer hit by vehicle; 2 arrested

The department will always have a diverse supply of waiters from Miami willing to take a job here. What can possibly go wrong?

JCPD got burned several times by trying to hire people way down the merit board score list because they fit the desired demographic profile. They got some sexual predators, people into drugs and thieves later kicked out, some publicly and some through forced resignation. Now LMPD doesn't even have to skip anyone because so few minimally qualified people are even applying. It's very predictable that the department will end up being embarrassed by some of the people its forced to hire.
