LMPD officer hit by vehicle; 2 arrested

The city should deny them a permit using the evidence from Charlottesville and other cities they've destroyed.

If some idiot lawyer or other idiot orders them to have a permit, then either the Mayor or Governor could declare an emergency exists at the first sign of trouble. Under KRS 39A.100 they can "exclude all nonessential, unauthorized, disruptive, or uncooperative personnel from the scene of the emergency, and command persons or groups of persons at the scene to disperse". It's been proven time and time again that the only way to stop a riot before damage is done is to bring in the national guard. Most rioters do not respect police, but sometimes respect and more often fear troops in a military uniform a lot more. LMPD is too ill-equipped and too poorly led to handle much more than a small numbers of green-haired snowflake U of L students. The last 2 Chiefs have only managed to peak out of their office curtains and hope the Mayor doesn't get mad when some activist gets arrested. Look how the Mayor freaks out and orders an investigation when even basic crowd control precautions and tactics are used. We will need troops here if the same groups show up.
