LMPD is who should be concerned about burning bridges being 200 positions down in the near future. Retirees don't need a police job. There are plenty of jobs out there that don't involve crazy idiots, criminals, horrible bosses and communicable diseases. Far fewer young people are interested in the job since there's no 20-year half pay pension anymore.
