LMPD officer hit by vehicle; 2 arrested

If the people of Louisville really want a politician running law enforcement, then the correct person to do that is the elected Sheriff not one of the Mayor's hired hands. The metro council should shift the whole department under the Sheriff and away from the Mayor.

After 14 years of demoralized officers, scandal after scandal coming out of the administrations, and murders at 2x to 3x what they used to be, it's time to fix this problem. The Louisville Metro Mayors and their Chiefs have proven themselves unfit to manage a police department.
