LMPD officer hit by vehicle; 2 arrested

It took 2 guys skilled in jiu-jitsu just to keep this guy from grabbing a weapon while they waited for backup. MMA, jiu-jitsu, etc can save your life until backup arrives. Putting someone in cuffs can easily require 3 people. There is no legitimate reason for a petite officer to be patrolling solo or making arrests in a high crime division. Their entire chain of command should be called on the carpet for allowing that.
