Man charged with murder of LMPD officer blames officer for fatal crash

The judge should obviously be removed from the bench, either by the voters or for judicial misconduct. This is the third time in recent history when a Jefferson county judge exceeded their authority to make a decision that contradicts the law.

The county attorney should resign if he's unwilling to appeal that decision to the Kentucky Supreme Court. A judge has no constitutional power to direct the promotion of an officer having lied on the stand solely due to seniority.

This county's courts need a massive overhaul. Someone in Frankfort should be working on changing the laws to fix them.

Leave it to a chief with a checkered present to promote an officer with a checkered past.
