St. Matthews Police chief retires after 63-year career in law enforcement

That's a s--t ton of money down the drain. What got accomplished with all that overtime? Narcotics has had a couple advertised significant busts in the last year, taking down a couple nobody dealers and letting the rest of the network get away. The murder rate is as high as ever and they're clearing far less than the 65% national average. 9th Mobile made the bust of the year by just going into a public park and locking up gang members with AK-47s (no OT required). Nobody has any clue what the task force people do since they've made no arrests since the warrant service detail in January.

How about pouring some of that money into units that will actually arrest some of these gang turds instead of units run by your unproductive favorites who can't police, Chief?
