It's not. When the Chief and politicians say "We can't arrest our way out of this problem" they means we don't need as many police. Police cost too much, offend parts of the community with their very existence, take money from political pet projects and kickbacks to political donors and sometimes arrest people tied to the Mayor in an embarrassing manner on TV. LMPD will be down to 1000 officers in a few years, as murders reach 150 per year and overdose deaths hit 600 per year.

Need at least 130....It will take 5 people just to replace the street experience that Parks had. Make that 131 in case she needs a driver to replace her as well.
