LMPD needs a total overhaul from the ground up. Maybe then we can instill the same pride and professionalism that officers once had, before things got out of control. We need a hardnosed, tough-on-crime chief and command staff. Recruit training needs to find the right balance of military style boot camp and academia, not too much of either. The academy doesn't need to churn out mindless robots or a bunch of know it all Einsteins. Just find a nice balance. We need to raise the recruiting standards,
