Its another in a long tine of meaningless gimmicks command has thought up to distract from the crime rate

1. Obama 21st Century meetings, a huge waste of time to write down a few common sense things that they could have gotten from a college kid's term paper.

2. Operation Trust, never existed except on paper

3. LMINTEL, did a warrant roundup in January and nothing since. The lesson learned should be that feds aren't interested in staffing police task forces. They only use police as additional labor for their task forces. They will gladly use LMPD for PR purposes standing behind the Chief for whatever gimmick he wants to advertise next.

4. Viper, recovered some stolen guns and got in trouble before being disbanded

5. 9th Mobile, extra west end patrol officers pulled from east and south end flex spots pretending to be detectives

6. Expansion of community services, police providing free labor to supplement the social workers

7. Fake expansion of metro narcotics, putting replacements in expected attrition spots before people left

8. Peacewalks, useless feel-good events requiring officers be taken from actual police work to guard the command staff in areas they're afraid to go by themselves, to include Waterfront Park

9. Disbanding the airport unit for "accountability" thereby signalling to drug networks internationally that Louisville International Airport is THE place to smuggle their dope

10. Misleading the public with skewed crime statistics, even after being called out by the Metro Council on their fake numbers live on Metro TV

11. Shot spotter, useless overpriced junk that doesn't work.
