LMPD chief defends changes to department, says he asked mayor for more officers

The guy who did the Fern Creek shooting was a visitor from the other side of town, there to engage in drug transaction with a former high school associate. It was a byproduct of busing rather than section 8. I doubt he will be at the 5 year reunion.
