Some of it can be blamed on liberal politics, but not all of it. The Louisville courts have a long history of quid pro quo deals with defense attorneys and prosecutors crossing over to the other side. There are too many conflicts of interest. I also wonder how many lawyers and judges have taken bribes from organized crime here. We'll never know because nobody even starts a case on that here like they do in other cities.
