The citizens have a choice. They can either vote in competent people capable of hiring competent command staff or continue to watch bodies drop in the streets. Most of the crime victims are in places where they don't trust or like police, so they keep voting in the same old kinds of people. The homicides are just beginning to spread a little more to the south and east. If you ever see 30 or so in the east end, then Louisville's wealthy Democrat powerbrokers will toss Fischer out on his @ss and bring in a Chief competent to lead high-crime city policing. Not before.

For all the high powered talk coming from the feds, we've seen very little here in Louisville. They can either put up or shut up. The accomplishments of their co-workers in other places buy them no accomplishments here.
