Two gangs -- the E-Block and Victory Park Crips -- have been locked in a feud since early July, though it's unclear what prompted it or set off a deadly string of shootings in late August. E-Block, sometimes referred to as East Side, is aligned with The Bloods, and claims one neighborhood -- east of Old Louisville in the Shelby Park and Smoketown areas. The Victory Park Crips claim the California neighborhood.
