You tell the downtown guy to keep his comments to himself, while you have no comment for the other guy who called LPD thugs.

Suburban policing or any policing certainly isn't danger-free, but that's got nothing to do with the usual 95% reactive JCPD policing style not working in high crime neighborhoods. If you got too active on JCPD, themn you quickly became a pariah because it created too much work for others.

If you don't proactively look for criminals to lock up in high crime neighborhoods, they the impression the coast is clear. Laying down for several years is a big reason why violent crime has gotten out of control. The drugs have always been here but they never had command of the streets like today.

OOOH. The distances you cover is so dangerous. Its so easy to get you idiots amped up. Does anyone really have pride in this profession anymore. We cant chase, taze, curse, or speed anymore. Steve is always watching. Just give up on being proactive. Every single patrol officer will get jacked up for camera captured violations with no citizen complaint within the next 2 years.
