LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - At least one person in a police program that gives teenagers a chance to explore law enforcement is under investigation.

WAVE 3 News has learned one or more persons in the LMPD Explorer program is under an internal investigation by the department.

The Explorer program is for young men and women, ages 14 through 19, who are interested in a career in law enforcement. Police aren't saying what the investigation is about. WAVE 3 News has requested further information.

It doesn't appear the Chief's ideas are working out so well when a woman of 3 in a formerly low crime part of town got gunned down on a sidewalk. Nobody has recently mentioned his big crimefighting task force operation that he announced with all the guys in suits standing behind him. They should have a few more high level meetings to talk about doing Obama's 21st Century Unicorns and Rainbows Crime Reduction Plan with free premium coffee and assorted danishes for all attendees.

Earlier today a mob of Hillary Clinton supporters assaulted a Trump supporter. Another Trump protester was shoved as Hillary Clinton said “I do hope somebody follows that gentleman out and stages an intervention" apparently baiting the crowd.

If she comes to town, LMPD should be prepared for this kind of incident or worse so we're not the next Milwaukee, Charlotte, Dallas or Baton Rouge.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (WTHR) - Hazmat crews were called in to clean up a mess left by a Democratic Party campaign bus in Georgia.

Officials with the Lawrenceville Police Department say officers were called to an auto part store Tuesday morning after receiving reports that a bus was illegally dumping its sewage into the storm drain.

A store employee took pictures that show the bus in question, which is adorned with a photo of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and her running mate, Sen. Tim Kaine. Officials say a large amount of drying toilet paper was on the roadway where the RV had been parked and a foul smell was left in the air.

I will be glad when this election is over so this page won't be hijacked by stupid clinton/trump crap!

I spoke to someone today that moved here a year ago from Nashville & he was talking about how much safer Nashville is than here in Louisville-Thanks Chief!

Investigators say Watts, 44, is at the helm of a drug ring that smuggled heroin, cocaine and crystal methamphetamine into Louisville from Mexico using hidden compartments in trucks and "stash houses" in eastern Jefferson County. Law enforcement sources estimate the ring smuggled more than $6 million in drugs into Louisville in just a matter of months.

They said the ring had ties to Mexico's infamous Sinaloa cartel, which is known for mutilating and hanging bodies from bridges. The cartel was formerly headed by ruthless drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman-Loera, who has escaped prison twice. He has been jailed a third time, and this month a judge who was handling his extradition case in Mexico was assassinated. Officials allege that Watts used Cuban native Ismael Gonzalez-Gonzalez, an alleged member of the Sinaloa cartel, to smuggle drugs across the Texas border in hidden compartments on trucks bound for Louisville. Once the drugs made their way to Louisville, they were hidden in houses in eastern Jefferson County and Shepherdsville, according to court records. Police sources believe Watts directed underlings to peddle them throughout the city, sometimes using Market Street Crips gang members for deliveries. Some of the drugs were ultimately bound for Indiana and Ohio.
