LMPD officer shot, suspect still on the run and considered armed and dangerous

Back in day when something like this happened...

When you came to work the next day the mood was very somber. Officers were quiet and sit up straight in roll call. Everybody talked about the incident a little and what could be learned from it.

Now days...

It barely gets mentioned. I fuzzy black and white picture of the suspect is passed around the table and the juvenile conduct carries on. No strong sergeants telling the troops to be careful out there.

Boy oh boy, the days the days.

Jacquan Crowley was only on the street and capable of shooting the officer because of our lax state justice system and the lack of federal action on his gun and drug violations. Nobody in the liberal press or in the department will mention that, so you heard it here 1st.

He was arrested on June 28, 2013 for Assault 3rd on EMS personnel, fleeing police, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree--cocaine and tampering with physical evidence. He got 10 years, but was back on the street on February 12, 2014, shortly after his conviction. The judge, prosecutor, corrections officials and federal people who decided this felon was not deserving of prison time are all partially to blame for this officer being shot.

I hear only 3 have applied so far for rehire with lmpd

I am embarrassed to be an American. Instead of Obama trying to project his concerns and reassure the nation, he makes a politically correct partisan election speech for Hillary. He still refuses to acknowledge ISIS as a threat, as he's done since his JV team comments about them years ago. What a fool.

A $2500 reward for someone who tried to murder an officer. The administration of Mayor Fisher of course offers nothing from his coffers. Pathetic! The reward should be $100,000, dead or alive.
