Louisville Metro Police has seen a big drop in applicants, but why?

I'm a citizen and I support law enforcement completely. I know there are a LOT of people in Louisville that feel the same. That "Thank You LMPD" page spoke volumes. I don't know what we can do, but if we're asked to support you in some way, I know the response will be overwhelming. People are tired of crime and are grateful to the people that are fighting it.
