real fraud
According to the graph California saves $400m/22k prisoners while Kentucky saves $50m/ 2k prisoners. So in California where it is more expensive to do anything its just over 18k per inmate to house them a year while in Kentucky it is 25k per year? And that is not the real fraud. In the numbers for Kentucky. the real fraud is that California will release them while Kentucky says it will place them in home confinement and drug treatment. Those both cost money so how much does it actually cost to house a criminal in Kentucky before release if after paying salaries and benefits plus costs of operations for monitoring after release Kentucky will save 25k per inmate per year? Luckily for one criminal we won't have to worry. I hope the KSP range gave their Troopers extra ammo after their encounter with a dangerous felon who killed one of their brothers. 50 million should cover a few extra rounds. Rest quietly my fallen brother.
