Sure, there are those times when you have a defense attorney trying to jerk your chain and hide in another courtroom, hoping the officer gives up an leaves; or maybe a late probable cause hearing. But to suggest that there are beat officers who make SO many felony arrests that they're regularly in court 3 or 4 hours each time, 3 or 4 days every week (to coincide with the earlier "we'll get no sleep" argument) is a bit much.
