Police chief to shake up patrol officers' shifts

10-hour shifts have overstayed their welcome and should have been gone a long time ago. I have heard officers say nobody will work midwatch now....Really? If you want your job you will work whichever shift they assign you. You are more disposable than you realize. Your code number has probably been recycled at least once already.
