LMPD Chief Forms New Task Force to Address Spike in Homicides in the Metro |
RE: LMPD Chief Forms New Task Force to Address Spike in Homicides...
You are correct. It is a shame that this city is all about political correctness. Everyone in this city knows what the problems are and what needs to be done to correct it. As long as the violence stays out of the affluent areas of the city then it will only be a subject for the water cooler. Let's all get behind the new citizens police academy, short range ultra expensive electric buses, the city loop, bike paths, bridge lights, waking paths in the Forrest, more funds for public schools (they are working so well to educate), up fund the YUM center with tax money, build multi million dollar hotel after giving permission money to Cordish, and how do we pay for all these things, with a new tax to raise the sales tax. So as long as the violence stays where it has always been then possibility city will move forward with the projects for a chosen few while our streets and infrastructure contine to deteriorate.
