To the j.a.c.k.wagon that said its a New York problem: This as a national problem exacerbated by the mainstream media. If you can't see this I will get you an appointment to have to glass installed in your lower abdomen so you can see where you are going. It's obvious you are blind because your head is currently shoved too far up your A/Z/Z.

The NY protestors are different from the Louisville ones. Most of the ones here are the same ones protesting full time for abortion, the environment, higher wages, affirmative action, or whatever else is cool this week. They have blocked a couple roads and walked through the mall, big deal. You don't see the kind of craziness going on elsewhere. If some of those radicals come here to hurt people, then you have 17 answers to that problem right next to you. Don't sweat it unless you're taking a vacation in one of those big city libtard hellholes.

The Policeman by Paul Harvey

December 23rd, 2014 @ 4:22PM (9 years ago)

“The Policeman”

A policeman is a composite of what all men are, mingling of a saint and sinner, dust and deity.

What that really means is that they are exceptional, they are unusual, they are not commonplace. Buried under the froth is the fact: and the fact is, less than one-half of one percent of policemen misfit the uniform. And that is a better average than you would find among clergymen!

What is a policeman? He, of all men, is at once the most needed and the most wanted. A strangely nameless creature who is “sir” to his face and “pig” or worse to his back.

He must be such a diplomat that he can settle differences between individuals so that each will think he won.

But…If the policeman is neat, he is conceited; If he’s careless, he’s a bum. If he’s pleasant, he’s a flirt; If he’s not, he’s a grouch.

He must make instant decisions which would require months for a lawyer.

But…if he hurries, he’s careless; If he’s deliberate, he’s lazy. He must be first to an accident, infallible with a diagnosis. He must be able to start breathing, stop bleeding, tie splints and above all, be sure the victim goes home without a limp.

The police officer must know every gun, draw on the run, and hit where it doesn’t hurt. He must be able to whip two men twice his size and half his age without damaging his uniform and without being “brutal.” If you hit him…he’s a coward. If he hits you…he’s a bully.

The policeman, from a single human hair, must be able to describe the crime, the weapon, the criminal and tell you where the criminal is hiding. But…if he catches the criminal, he’s lucky; if he doesn’t, he is a dunce.

He runs files and writes reports until his eyes ache, to build a case against some felon who will get “dealed out” by a shameless shamus.

The policeman must be a minister, a social worker, a diplomat, a tough guy and a gentleman.

And of course, he’ll have to be a genius…for he will have to feed a family on a policeman’s salary.

You can find the original newspaper column, “What Are Policemen Made Of?” from 1970 in Mansfield and Holland’s, “Paul Harvey’s America.”

I did not know Paul Harvey's father was a police officer and was killed in the line of duty when Paul was three years old.

In the wake of several highly publicized media accounts of the shooting deaths of blacks by white police officers, a violent street gang has decided that the time has come for them to take justice into their own hands — by murdering white cops.

The Cuyhoga County Sheriff’s Office in northern Ohio said area street gang Heartless Felons has instructed its members to kill white police officers in retaliation for the deaths of blacks like Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

The Heartless Felons were believed to be “the second largest prison gang in Ohio,” according to Opposing Views, having reportedly gotten its start in juvenile detention facilities. It has now spread to the streets of Cleveland.

Here is an example of how the leftists in the media try to agitate riots. They got on Twitter and found some inflammatory lies to print in this case.

The Huffington Post got duped by a Twitter user claiming to have witnessed Tuesday night’s fatal police shooting of a man in a St. Louis suburb. It published an account – which it later withdrew – of a police officer opening fire on a teenager because he would not lie down on the ground. It then published a correction – first at the top of the story, then moving it to the bottom.

The shooting occurred in Berkeley, an inner suburb of St. Louis not far from Ferguson, where police officer Darren Wilson shot and killed Michael Brown, setting off a wave of protests around the country. Details of what happened Tuesday night remained sparse. Police have not identified the name of the officer, the victim or the race of either one. The Huffington Post and other media have reported the victim was black.

Police said in a statement that a Berkeley officer was conducting a “routine business check” at a gas station when he saw two male subjects outside the station. As the officer approached the men, one pulled a handgun and pointed it at the officer. “Fearing for his life, the Berkeley Officer fired several shots, striking the subject, fatally wounding him,” the statement said. Police said the other man fled the scene.

In its initial story, the Huffington Post quoted a Twitter user named “Jesus Christo” who claimed to have been with the victim, whom he called “Antonio.” The person would not speak to the Huffington Post over the phone but reportedly told the reporter via Twitter that he and the victim were told they matched the descriptions of two robbery suspects. He said the officer tried to search the victim but the victim would not let him, according to the news outlet.

The Washington Post is reporting the quotes using several screenshots of the original story posted on Twitter.

“The officer then stepped back and drew his weapon and pointed at Antonio and told us to lay on the ground,” Jesus Christo reportedly told the Huffington Post. “I layed [sic] down but Antonio refused.”

“The officer then began to step back from us with his gun still aimed at us,” he reportedly continued. “He told Antonio to lay down once again and when Antonio didn’t lay down the officer opened fire. And when I tried to get up to help my friend he screamed at me to stay down with his weapon still drawn.”

The story was written by Sebastian Murdock, an associate editor at the Huffington Post, apparently before police issued their statement.

You People

December 24th, 2014 @ 4:06PM (9 years ago)

I'm so sick of being treated differently by you people! When I walk into a store or a restaurant you stare at me and whisper to each other, like I'm going to do something bad. You call me disgusting names even though you don't even know my name. I don't get paid fairly for what I do. I do the jobs that you people won't do. If I do something wrong you treat me differently than everybody else. You don't care about me because I am different from you. Your kids even treat my kids differently because of MY color. You people have no idea what my life is like everyday. I am hated because of MY color. You hate me because you even tell me that you would never trade places with me because of all the hate that comes to me because of MY color.

You hate me because I wear BLUE! But I wear it proudly and I serve you people everyday. WE die everyday protecting you people. Maybe one day you will realize that WE ARE YOU PEOPLE!

Merry Christmas to my Brothers and Sisters

I was in the mall during this. They were chanting "Shut **** down" in front of 75 children waiting to see Santa. The children were clearly frightened by these idiots.

"Chipotle Employee’s ‘Spontaneous, Unplanned Action’ Forced the Fast-Food Chain to Apologize to NYPD"

“It’s disgusting how people don’t respect cops anymore,” Jackie Cortes, a retired NYPD lieutenant, told WPIX-TV.

A spokesperson for Chipotle said that nine officers were trying to order food at a location in Brooklyn when an employee put his hands in the air.

The gesture appeared to be in reference to the “hands up don’t shoot” motion made by Ferguson protesters upset over the shooting death of Michael Brown.

The officers immediately left, according to WPIX, and some have since called for a boycott of the national chain.

On Monday, the CEO released a statement apologizing for the incident.

“We work very hard to ensure that every customer in our restaurants feels welcome and is treated with respect. Clearly, the actions of this crew member undermined that effort,” the statement said. “Our investigation has shown that this appears to have been a spontaneous, unplanned action taken by an individual crew member and was not a coordinated effort by the staff of the restaurant.”

“In no way was the behavior of this crew member consistent with our culture and our values as a company,” it added. “We have taken appropriate actions with regard to the crew member involved, but we are not at liberty to discuss the specific actions taken.”

I hate it when somebody is about to get promoted and people talk behind their back saying "Nobody would take him". Oh really?? What exactly does that mean? It is such a stooopid remark to make. As if nobody "takes him" that means he will not have a place to work and therefore be fired. Give me a break!! This place has hit rock bottom! Anybody who still cares what anyone on LMPD thinks doesn't have a clue.
