What a mess...sounds like bull to me. This is why police officers should not volunteer for anything related to social work. Your job is not to be a substitute father. Let the real fathers do their own dirty work. The days of police officers being "mentors" are long gone. Take police out of schools while you're at it. SROs need to be back on the beat. LMPD needs to rededicate itself to law enforcement only!!

Look at the picture. Clay with his two westend welfare mamas looking for a check from the city. If they were raising their kids instead of depending on the gov't doing it you wouldn't have this crap going on. Chief Conrad you need to grow a set and not settle and take these cases to trial and show the city doesn't pay on crap lawsuits instead of making Clay richer.

When a police department takes on a job for which it's not qualified, namely a social worker or correctional role, then it's just setting itself up for a lawsuit. If you're a police officer getting some kid out of bed at 3:00am, you're a long way from Kansas, Toto, and someone's going to get sued. This is what the unproven leftist theories they teach at the administration's favorite ivory tower will get you. The city should pull the plug on paying for it.

He says teens were physically and verbally abused by officers.

"We've reported to child protective services and we've alleged in this complaint and acts that we believe to be criminal conduct," Clay said.

He says things like this were said to the kids.

Quote; "I'm gonna cut your dìck off and nail it to my wall and let my dog lick it."

-It's a good thing they were wearing campaign covers when they screamed things like that at children. If they weren't, it wouldn't have sounded quite so gentlemanly.

A defenseless and innocent African-American man was shot. I don't see any left wingers protesting or rioting though. HANDS UP, DON'T SHOOT is a saying that just applies to police? Maybe the FOP should stage a demonstration whenever there's a shooting that the left wingers ignore. I will wear a wig like Al Sharpton's for good measure.

Why is it whenever you tell a white person "thank you" instead of them saying you're welcome, they say "no problem"?? It is the most oddest response...kinda implies there really is a problem but the problem is now forgiven.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —A national law enforcement firm will begin a thorough review of the Louisville Metro Police Department. Alexander Weiss Consulting was hired in response to a single night of violence in March. A mob of teenagers were accused of several assaults at Waterfront Park and in downtown Louisville. A work-group recommended the consultant look at the number of officers and where they are allocated. The metro council approved $68,000 for the review.

You see Virginia, there really is a Santa Claus.....

Trio of Armed Thugs Tied Up Man and His Wife, Then Momentarily Left Them Unattended. When They Returned, There Was a Surprise Waiting.

A man and his wife were reportedly attacked and tied up by a trio of home intruders who forced their way into the couple’s Lakewood, Washington, home on Tuesday. The horrifying incident left one of the intruders dead and the others running for their lives, according to police.

The 66-year-old wife was reportedly in the bath when three men knocked on the door. When the husband, 62, answered the door, he quickly realized he didn’t know them and tried to close the door. Unfortunately, the men — armed with a gun and knife — overpowered him and entered the home.

The thugs beat the man severely, leaving him needing stitches, and cut his wife’s hand, according to court documents obtained by the News Tribune. The men then allegedly tied up the couple and searched the house for valuable items to steal. At one point, they momentarily left the house — and it turned out to be a huge mistake.

During the brief time that the men were outside, the husband was apparently able to free himself, untie his wife and relocate to their bedroom. They locked the door and the man retrieved his firearm from a lock box and aimed it at the door.

When the suspects returned and busted through the door, the husband opened fire. Police believe the man fatally hit one of the robbers. Police later identified the deceased suspect as 19-year-old Taijon Voorhees. All three of the men ran out of the house in fear.

Police later arrested Duprea Wilson, 19, in connection to the robbery, which he reportedly told others had “gone wrong.” The suspects may have broke into the wrong house looking for drugs and money, according to investigators.

Wilson was later charged with 12 felonies, including first-degree manslaughter, robbery, kidnapping and assault.

WOW?!

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A man who pleaded guilty to drug charges is now set to become the next mayor of one Kentuckiana community.

The iTeam has been looking into the West Buechel mayor's race for several months.

On Wednesday the current mayor is questioning how this is even legal?

"I'm not understanding why this can take place," West Buechel mayor Sharon Fowler said.

Fowler said she is stunned by the turn of events. Mayor elect Rick Richards won by only 10 votes just months after pleading guilty to a felony in a drug trafficking case.

"I would like to see a recount for one thing," Fowler said.

Richards did not return any phone calls on Wednesday but told WHAS11 the following in August, "I have all the faith in the world in the justice system and I don't see anything that would prevent me from holding public office if elected," Richards said.

Richards said he did not have a drug problem.

Richards can hold the office because as part of his plea deal he entered into a diversion program.

If he stays out of trouble for the next four years the case will be expunged and he won't be a convicted felon.

Citizens responded to Richards win.

"I think it's a shame. I think it's ridiculous. Like I said before I think the people who cared didn't get out there and vote and something like this happens," West Buechel resident Fran Hughes said.

"It does seem very weird to have something like that happen and not even a couple months later you get elected on to being the mayor but I'm a Christian and I don't judge," Brandon McClellan, a West Buechel Resident, said.
