Woman dies after being shot by LMPD officers following eight hour SWAT situation

Will the command staff please quit apologizing to the "victim's" families. The last two shootings have involved a person that has pointed a gun at officers. Why don't you try "we are sorry our officers we're put in this position". Hopefully we will get command that cares about us one day!!!!

Very unfortunate that this woman had to die. Very unfortunate that she forced officers to kill her to protect themselves. I feel for her family, and I feel for my family too - the officers. It's not easy to take a life. It stays with you forever. We are NOT Ferguson. We are better than that.
