Agreed, the way the FOP handles endorsements is stupid. It comes down to the presidents of the lodges vote and they have little to no idea who deserves the endorsement because the president of the lodge is never in court. The candidates give a speech in front of the presidents and they vote to endorse or not based on that. The FOP endorsed Brian Edwards last time and if there is a judge that is more negative for the police than Brian Edwards I sure don't know who it is.
