Judge's political talk leads to deputy misstep

The Kentucky Attorney General should appoint a special prosecutor to investigate this allegation and any retaliation that may have occurred. Kentucky's pristine corruption-free reputation must be defended and preserved.

I don't understand why people are mad at her. From the article I didn't hear Calvert bad mouth the police. She was upset she didn't get an endorsement, that she felt she should have got. She seemed legitimately upset about it. As far as Lambertus, he has always been a Jackwagon and the same for his fat assistant! The Courier-Journal is attacking Calvert, and this Deputy has retained T. Clay? Sorry I'm not jumping on board with this one. She might just get my vote because of this!

We need to take all of Lambertus's cases to trial-make him earn his money! No free dismissals.

If you really look at what Lambertus said it's not as bad as you'd think. He makes a valid point. The majority of officers had no idea which judges are endorsed. The only LMPD officer who got to vote on the endorsement is Mutchler. He never asked officers to vote on who they wanted. Then his vote is only 1 of 8. So he may have a point when he called the endorsers dumb bastards. Their leader did marry Tandita.

I am not against Judge Calvert on this. She may not side with police on everything in court, but she is pro-po po enough to go above and beyond sometimes on things like search warrants and such (just as she said). My take on this; is that she thought she helped enough to be endorsed and was upset that she was not. She didn't bad mouth us, didn't call us names, didn't call us stupid. LAMBERTUS DID. I, personally, have nothing against her, but Lambertus is another story altogether..........
