What exactly would you have done about it? Lock them up? They get right out without penalty. Fine them? 80% of fines in district court are probated fines. No one really pays except the east end people who don't spend enough time in court to know how to work the system.

What we have here is the product of many years of teaching these people that there is no punishment for what they do. JCYC is a joke. Jeff Co. District court is a joke. And if you happen to slap a felony on someone, rocket docket is there to be sure it gets probated and no one actually has to go to jail or otherwise be punished
