The east-end does have a much larger population than the west-end, so why does the west-end always receive the most cops on the beat and most of the other government resources. The tax paying residents (who actually contribute to society) that live in the other parts of Louisville Metro receive hardly squat. The resources should be distributed more proportionally, based on the revenues generated. The nicer areas of town get the least amount of police protection while the housing projects and section 8 areas get the highest density of police protection.
